Gurupurnima At Mysore

vkmaysurUtsava celebrated on 22nd morning  in yoga varga. Bhajan, guru shloka, karma yoga shlokas chanted.  7 days “Omkar meditation”  class started. 18 yoga participants attended the class and utsava. At 5 pm there was  Samuhika Sri Satyanarayana Pooja performed at Kendra office. 76 people attended the pooja. At the end prasada distributed.At 7 pm there was a Boudhik.

Gurupurnima At Nagpur

20130721_173411Maharshi Veda Vyasa’s jayanti which is celebrated as Gurupornima, falls on Ashadh Pornima according to Hindu calendar. This year it was on 22nd July. Swami Vivekananda envisaged the temples of ‘OM’ all over, where all will come together and work for the betterment of the humanity. Vivekananda Kendra is an instrument to translate Swamiji’s message in reality.
