Three Arunachalee girls crack civil service exams

Mitali Namchoom (Vivekananda Kendra Vidhyalaya Tafrogam), Tadu Mamung and Bullo Mamung (Vivekananda Kendra Vidhyalaya Jirdin) have cracked this year’s Civil Services Examination. Namchoom got into Indian Administrative service while Tadu and Bullo got into Indian Revenue Service.

The Yoga Guru and head of Patanjali Yoga Vidyapith, Hrishikesh Swami Ramdev Baba arrived Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari in the afternoon on 28 Macrh 2011. He was received with the Pornakumbha by Ma Balakrishnanji, Ma Niveditadidi, Shri Hanumantharaoji and other Kendra karyakartas and after that he visited Vivekananda Rock Memorial (VRM). He was accompanied by Shri Raghunathan and Shri Deepak and was received by Shri Avinashji (all Jeevanvratis of Vivekananda Kendra) on the Vivekananda Rock Memorial.

Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture is organising a 4-day workshop on Research Methods and Proposal Writing on Culture and Development Issues of Northeast India from 1-4 February, 2012.

AIMS:
•    to fill the gaps in methods of research,
•    to develop research capacity of participants and
•    to concretise study proposals to a deliverable research output.
