Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Mysore Branch, Hanumanalu Karyasthan, celebrated Maha Shivaratri on March 8, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A total of 51 people participated in the event, including 32 Anandalaya students, 8 Anandalaya Aacharyas/Karyakartas, and 21 Samskara Varga students. During the celebration, Anandalaya students created Shivalinga on their own and performed Puja. Soulful Shiva Bhajans were sung, and the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra and Aum Namah Shivaya Mantra were chanted 108 times. Some games were conducted to motivate the children, and Pranayama and meditation sessions were also part of the event. Prasad was distributed to all after the completion of the puja.
